Works great!
Bought this September 28,2025 and it still works perfectly. Had to cut off plug to fit my gas oven and twist wires together but it was simple to do.Well worth the small effort, I just bought this one because I couldn’t find an exact replacement for mine.

Didn’t last long
Bought to replace old igniter causing very long heating set point times. Worked for a week perfectly, then slowly began to diminish. A few months now and its taking even longer to reach the set point temp than the original part. I guess purchasing an item $175 less than the OeM part is too good to be true. Its not incredibly hard to replace but if this has to be done every few months its not worth it. Will try the big money replacement now

I replaced my bad igniter which didn’t work at all with this one.It took around 15 minutes and I was taking my time.I works like a champ. The Oven heated right up to temperature.Its great having my Oven working again.

Samsung oven igniters
To replace the top igniter you’ll need to remove the back cover of the oven. The lower unit is easy once you remove the door (you tube). It’s very easy. I ordered two of the same igniters. Didn’t know the top had a different plug. I just changed the plastic plug with pin removal tools. Piece of cake. Now her oven works just fine. The igniters are on after the burners are lit for a while (which could lead to premature failure). Buy some extra screws. Short sheet metal ones. If you drop it the oven will eat them. Not worth dismantling the oven for a few little sheet metal screws 1/4” long.If these fail in a year I will update. It’s a pretty easy job to replace them.

this is the second one i have purchased in less then two years, they stop working after 11 months. I guess ill try another brand and see how that goes before shelling out for OEM.

Perfect fit and the perfect cost, but short lifespan
Update as of July 12, 2025. Igniter has stopped working. Appears it has burned out and is black around the edges. Overall, lasted around 6 months. Not sure if this was expected or similar to other buyers experiences, but kinda a let down.I had watched a few YouTube videos to learn how to diagnose the issue. Once I knew the igniter was faulty, I went to ABT electronics in Glenview, IL and was quoted $267 for this part. ABT was where I purchase the Samsung oven, so not sure if the prize gouging was Samsung, ABT or a distributor.Installed this part and can confirmed it looked like the OEM, had the same weight and feel, and looked identical in all aspects to the original part.Easy install and works perfectly. Such a perfect mix of quality and cost. Highly recommended.

Quick Fix
Value for money:My oven would take 15 minutes to get to 350 and it couldn’t ever reach 400. Samsung has the part for over $200 and I came across this one. I am a 67 year old woman and it took me 20 minutes to replace it. My oven takes 7 minutes to reach 350 and 9 minutes to reach 450. Amazing and the cost was great. Hopefully it lasts, but if it doesn’t at least I know how to fix it.

Bought this for my Samsung gas range in February 2025 and by November 2025 (9 months’ish) it was at over 300ohms and the stove was taking over 60 min to get to 425 degrees. New out of the box, it was at a little over 100ohms. Purchased again in November 2025, and by January 2026 (about 2 months) oven was taking 40 minutes to warm up to 425. New the oven heats up to 425 in just over 10 minutes. Does not last long, but it is quite a bit cheaper than the Samsung branded part.
