They thought of everything!
I would like to say that this is the best heat pad or I should say pads I have ever owned. First I purchased the neck and shoulder that crosses in front thinking it was this one, the cape like model, was a little disappointed at first. However, it worked wonderfully and I was able to lay it down on the bed and heat my lower back and up the sides of my back. It is amazing.I loved it so much that I came back and purchased this model and am so happy I did. It heats up slow, but once they get hot, it’s on!!! It penetrates the heat deep into the body and relives all the muscle tension and helps relax everything.My wife and I both use it now I use both but not at the same time. It gets good and hot. I found it better to use one then use the other on a different body part later.Other heat pads don’t come with arm pit straps that hold the pad close to your body for full relief, this one does.If you would like to get up and get a drink or forgot your phone in another room. You can simply turn the unit off and twist and unplug it go do what you need to do with the cord in your pocket or you can hold it. Then when you have what you need you can plug and twist, turn it back on and your ready to go again with it still right where you want it.The controls are simple and easy. The memory feature is great because once you find your sweet spot you want to keep it there and then you can just strap in and relax. The timer being part of the memory is fantastic because you can forget how long you have been using it. It’s not good to have that heat on you all the time. In terms of therapy.I have been dealing with chronic pain for many years. Migraines, muscle tension, you name it. This has been the heat pad that has worked the best, and I hope the longest. The electric blanket heat pads don’t even come close to the relief the this provides.In short, this is the best heating pad I have ever owned I may even purchase the flat pad. The only thing I would ask to change is that I wish it were a little longer in the back and that they were a bit more affordable. A great help…
I started to develop a pain in my right shoulder and the lower back of my neck. These helped so much, I have recommended this to three friends already. It is not cheap but well worth the money. Heats up pretty quickly and has easy electronics to operate. It fits my large (23″+) neck and is weighted enough so it lays properly on the skin. Very well made and should stand up to the beating I will probably put on it.

Larger version sotight on neck choaking
I bought the larger version and it is so tight around the neck that it choaks you. I can’t imagine how small the smaller one is because this on is so incredibly uncomfortable around the neck. They should make the product bigger in the neck with velcro so you can tighten it to the level you need it. As is unless you have the perfect neck size this isn’t going to work and its a great heating pad but isn’t going to work for me.

A decent far infrared heating pad for the money
Overall the heating pad works well. It fits well over the shoulders and is comfortable. The far infrared cords help ease the pain in my shoulders and neck. Where it lacks is the front where it drapes over my chest muscles. The heat is not very warm. If you turn up the heat, it heats up everything so the back portion becomes too hot and the front still isn’t very warm.

Deep, Soothing Neck Heat That Melts Away Stress
I’ve tried a lot of heating pads over the years, and this UTK far infrared heating pad (like my many other UTK products) is on another level. The heat feels deep and penetrating, not just surface-level warmth. You can really tell the difference with the far infrared + jade stones — it’s incredibly soothing for my neck, shoulders, and upper back tension.I love that it heats up quickly and gets genuinely hot, but still feels safe and evenly distributed. Quality Made.
The item is quality made. We have a rectangular heating pad with the same ceramic disks that heat up- but that one’s too bulky. This new one is lighter and fits nicely around the shoulder.The thermostat doesn’t seem to heat up as well, or maybe they don’t want to heat the disk’s too much?Or maybe the thermostat doesn’t heat up too much. Not sure which.

3 stars for the fit, but the pad was nice.
Bought this after a shoulder injury and I really wanted it to work. The sizing was just wrong. I’m a big guy, 6’4” with fairly broad shoulders, and there was no way this was going to work.I ended up buying a medium sized heating pad with all the crystals, PEMF, and red light therapy. I’m not a woo-woo crystal guy and I could care less about my chakras and dogma, but that thing works like magic…

Low EMF, fits around shoulders & neck perfectly with a Velcro fastener!
I love this brand so much, I have 3 different size heating pads. This is the first time trying the neck & shoulder pad & I love the updated design for the panel. My favorite thing about this brand is that it’s low EMF & has the healing crystal properties with it. This neck pad is flexible & can wrap around the shoulders & even has a little Velcro to fasten in the front. There’s even a little spot on the neck to get the neck muscles & back of the neck. Love the little carrying case that goes with it, too!
