Safe, Easy to Use and Durable Glucose Monitoring System
This is one of the better glucose test kits for the price point! It has everything you need in one package. Itโs accurate, compact and easy to use. It used a very small blood sample to get accurate results. The lancet pen works great for me where other kits pen donโt puncture my skin, I must have tough skin! Itโs much safer than other pens where I have to take the lancet out of the pen and manually jab my finger multiple times, ouch! The lancets and test strips are sold separately too for easy refills.

Great monitor for the price and features.
Nifty unit for basic glucose monitoring. Does not have some of the data storage features some more expensive models may have ( like tracking before/after meals, special situations,etc.) but stores data for 2 people and data is easy to access. Set up is easy enough – directions included. Print is a bit small- but pretty much everything explained adequately. Display screen is large enough and very clear. Great monitor for the price and features.

I just received my IMDK Blood Glucose Monitor Kit, excellent packaging and fast delivery . I just changed from another manufacturer to this one and I am so glad I did , I tried it for the first time and Iโm very satisfied with its performance. The device is easy to set up and very convenient to use making it perfect for daily blood sugar monitoring. The results are fast and accurate .The kit includes everything I neededโtest strips, lancets, and a lancing device for a great price !!! What a bargain for an excellent device . The device is really easy to use and the display is clear and easy to read .Overall, this is an excellent , reliable and affordable glucose monitor that provides accurate readings and a stress free experience. No issues. The instructions are detailed and clear. The device seems to be functioning accurately. The strips are good quality, and I haven’t had a failed reading yet.FYI don’t be rough with the lancing device. It is of good quality but it’s obvious being careless can render it inoperable. Be careful where you twist, grip, push etc.Only complaint would be there being only 2 buttons on the device. It’s easy to use if you read the instructions but more buttons would be more intuitive and reduce learning curve.Edit: So I had some concern and got a Contour Next One to compare. I had 2 of these meters and there was some discrepancy that resulted in doubt. Turns out there is good agreement between this and the One when its set to mg/dl. mmol might not be as accurate though you would think its a simple conversion. I read that meters are often set to one or the other for accuracy and the One is locked to mg/dl.

OK-to-good for showing range … well, Good-to-OK, perhaps
One big stupid upfront: there’s a lot of pearl-clutching tone in the instructions about ‘not touching the electrode’ side of the strip โ so why is the vial loaded with that side UP, where your fingers are when you try to get one out?Overall, been using about a week and it’s generally accurate, and that’s prolly enough. It doesn’t matter if it’s a machine error or this human’s, I get varied readings doing two or more tests at one sitting.The numbers can vary widely, and it cd one or more of multiple factors in the machine or me; this AM I thought maybe I missed something about ‘don’t do multiple tests at a time’ in the instructions.But a couple times I did bec the first reading was so obviously off, I needed a better ballpark. So for now, think I’ll do the one, and extrapolate maybe 20 points in each direction for the approximation.But that’s OK. Doesn’t matter; it’s still useful. First, if we’re using it, we have a reason. Some might just like tracking, but if glucose is an issue for the user, there are lab blood panels giving a baseline. These can be primary hang-your-hats-on numbers. These daily self-tests give you trends over time, until the next lab. Do those regular and this works with that.For me, it’s also about encouragement and recall. We already know most eating drives blood glucose up. Your readings spike along with the insulin, and you see it. If its imprecise, OK โย X is still different from X+Y, when Y is a double-digit.It’s useful, and worth 10-15 bucks a month โย we pay that for Prime, which does nothing for our health. 100 strips can go almost two months, figuring roughly two tests a day, and replacement strips are another 20 for 100.At some point.they can perhaps be stopped, assuming progress on the problem โ and its underlying causes โย and the regular labs.Now if only they’d load the vials properly./Note: edited to 3 stars from 4. The swings on this are wild, with no other explanation than defective quality. You can take two successive readings with 40+ points difference.Refer back to the title of this review, now with the added chiasmus after the ellipses โย Good to OK. This product is OK, just, for showing range. Don’t depend on it for precision in actual numbers. It gives an approximation.

Simple to use, the lancing device is pain free to use. It counts down and displays the results, the manual says it will also beep at the end of a test but mine doesn’t? 77Results displayed quickly. It also has a memory function to record results and view previous ones. Do remember to set the time etc first on the unit.

The blood glucose monitor is of good quality and very accurate as I tested the monitor against a recent hospital blood test and the result was almost the same. I rate IMDK as a very good company who respond to e mails in record time and answer questions as needed. I would recommend this equipment to other people requiring a blood glucose monitor.
