Our Story

In 1990 Ed opened a small aftermarket parts shop near the Rouge Plant in Dearborn MI. Wanting to expand his business to serve more local dealerships, mechanics and hobbyists Ed moved to Detroit’s west side before passing the role of CEO to son and co-owner Mike Musheinesh in 2012. Around this time Detroit Axle relocated retail and remanufacturing operations to the current flagship facility and global distribution center on 8 Mile Road.
